Captured Live: Amyl and The Sniffers @ Nelsonville Music Festival

Whether it's a club show, festival set, or mega stadium tour spectacular – Amyl and The Sniffers (Bryce, Gus, Declan, and Amy) never disappoint. The new song, "U Should Not Be Doing That" shined bright and sounded even more badass live. As the world's most exciting live band and the true torchbearers of modern rock n' roll and punk, the Melbourne, Australia foursome may have been surprised to hear and see such an energized Southeastern Ohio crowd waiting for them. Nelsonville fest-goers were undoubtedly "here for it." Playing past singles ("Hertz", "Guided by Angels", "Security" "Got You" and more) and live favorites ("Freaks To The Front", "Choices", "Control", "Shake Ya" and more), Amy Taylor strutted, danced, and jumped around stage, singing and shouting and smiling the whole time while the already revved up audience moshed in the pit and crowd surfed and jumped and sang along with Taylor. Declan, Gus, and Bryce held it all down and made it look easy and cool. The near 90 minute Sniffers performance at NMF24 was a triumph.
